How it works
Penguin Pottery provides the blank pottery pieces for you to decorate with special colourful underglaze paints. Your unique creations are then glazed and fired in a kiln and are ready to be returned two weeks later (longer during busy times). Nothing could be easier. All paints are safe, non-toxic and easily cleaned up with water, making them suitable for everyone.
Who is it for?
Penguin Pottery is perfect for baby groups, nurseries, schools, rainbows, brownies, cubs, community groups, children's parties, hen parties, social gatherings indeed anyone who wants to paint!
Penguin Pottery also runs painting techniques and clay workshops for both children and adults. Further information can be found on the workshops page.
Where can I paint?
Penguin Pottery frequently visits baby groups offering handprint and footprint keepsakes but if you're a little older look out for pop up pottery painting opportunities at local shops and cafes. Get in touch if you would like a visit to your school, nursery or community group for either painting, handprints or clay sessions and if you'd like to book a party just ask!
Penguin Pottery also offers pottery to go and will supply everything needed for you to paint at home, so there's always an opportunity to get creative.
